I express my gratitude for your interest in Sri Mittapalli Institute Of Technology For Women. I believe “Everything is possible if our determination is strong and selfless”. My dream of establishing an engineering college to avail the finest science and technical education for rural students had come true in 2006 as Sri Mittapalli Group of Institutions at Tummalapalem in Guntur District and it is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

It is my deepest inclination to serve the rural society moulding these technocrats into global business leaders of tomorrow through dedicated staff and world-class infrastructure. I was immensely pleased to signify that we have imparted an academic program in addition to the engineering curriculum for social, cultural, scientific, economic and technical development.

SMITW aims at establishing standard academic excellence and provides integrated training programs for engineering students to meet the challenges in the rapid globalized economic conditions. Thus, our Sri Mittapalli Group of Institutions have earned goodwill from our students and society at large.

Sri Mittapalli Institute Of Technology For Women was born out of the vision of founder Sri. Mittapalli Koteswararao in 2008. We provide quality technical education for rural students in the Guntur district and are renowned for academic excellence and sustain with the slogan “Quality is our Motto”.

SMITW boasts of world-class infrastructure including digital libraries, technical labs, language labs and excellent facilities for sports. Faculty and students are encouraged to take part in research activities resulting in many number of publications in prestigious journals with good impact factors. it provides a dais every year to conduct a range of events from social, cultural, and technical to bring awareness in order to impart life skills, competencies, right attitude and attributes which are greatly desirable in today’s global environment.

SMITW focuses special attention on communication skills in English, soft skills, Aptitude, Reasoning and technical programs since the first year of technical graduation as these are required skills for the present competitive world.

Sri Mittapalli Group of institutions nurtures students through full-fledged value education classes and regular counselling sessions. Industry-Academia network comprises interaction with corporate managers and guest lectures by visiting professors to facilitate our esteemed campus to corporate transition for enhancement and employability of quotient of the technocrats.
